Persons over 50 may take a Safe Driver Course offerred by AARP from 9-1 on two Saturdays, October 10 & 17. We will meet across the street at the Hopewell Volunteer Fire Department in the classroom on the top floor to the left of the fire engines. The fee for materials is $15 for members of AARP and $20 for nonmembers. Upon completion you may be eligible for a discount of at least 5% on your auto insurance.
During the course your will learn:
- to avoid driving hazards
- new traffic laws
- defensive driving techniques, and
- much, much more.
