We've Re-opened!

Welcome back to Prince of Peace Church!

Worship services have resumed since May !!

Returning to church is life-giving:

  • We will gather for worship together – it will be great to see each other again face-to-face
  • We will learn to trust in the Lord for His grace during this time of re-opening in our society
  • We will renew our prayers for our whole congregation, especially those at-risk and in need of God’s healing and special protection

Returning to church is meaningful:

  • We have vibrant, spirit-filled singing of praise and worship songs
  • We have Scripture readings, sermon, prayers, confession & absolution
  • We have Holy Communion as we feast at the Table of the Lord

Returning to church is safe:

  • We practice social distancing in our seating plan
  • Singers sit up front with no one in front of them
  • The Passing of the Peace is done without leaving our pew (“air hugs”)
  • The offering plate is on a table for you to safely drop your offering
  • We serve communion wafers (not real bread yet) and wine in individual, disposable cups
  • No Coffee Hour, childcare or Children’s ministry yet

1. HOW TO SIGN-UP – on our website OR by calling the church office. Each service is limited in number based on the level of restriction in our state (currently we are under "half-restriction" or "green" in Pennsylvania, so the number per service is limited to 50)

2. SEATING – we have space between family units and individuals to encourage "socal distancing"

3. ENTERING & EXITING – please don’t bunch up as you enter or visit in tight spaces or hallways, Greeters will hand you a bulletin but not shake hands or hug you yet unless you request it.

4. COMMUNION – is done in a single-file line in the center aisle, 6-feet apart, receive wafer and individual cup of wine (optional) and exit back to pew down the side aisles

5. RECORDING – each service is recorded from the back-wall camera and shared online Sunday afternoon
